Home Euthanasia for Pets in Sleaford
Gentle veterinary care in familiar surroundings
When the time comes to say goodbye, travelling to a veterinary practice can feel like an added burden for both you and your pet.
HomeLinc Vet offers peaceful euthanasia appointments for dogs and cats in Sleaford and nearby villages. Your pet can remain in their own bed, garden or favourite place, with the people they love beside them.
Visits are carried out by Dr Mallory Taylor MRCVS, an experienced veterinary surgeon, and are planned without the time pressure of a routine practice appointment.
What happens during a home visit?
When I arrive, we will take time to talk about your pet and make sure you feel comfortable with the decision. I will explain what will happen and answer any questions before proceeding.
Gentle sedation is given first so that your pet can become calm, comfortable and deeply asleep with you beside them. Once they are fully relaxed and unaware, the final medication is administered.
There is no need to hurry your goodbye. Each visit is individual and guided by the needs of your pet and family.
After your pet has passed away
You can choose to keep your pet with you for home burial where appropriate or make your own cremation arrangements.
Alternatively, I can personally transport your pet to Southern Sky Pet Crematorium. The crematorium can then discuss individual or communal cremation options and the return of ashes with you.
